Robert E. Lee, Public Enemy Number One
General Robert E. Lee
Robert E. Lee, or shall we call him the "Marble Man"? Either way he is still the same wicked general of the Confederate forces. The same Confederate forces that instigated the war after the bombing of Fort Sumner. Lee graduated from West point academy up here in the north but still went to fight for the south. Lee was appointed commander of the Confederate forces soon after Virginia seceded from the Union. And although Lee is a very skilled general, he is clearly no match for the Union's general McClellan after the landslide of a victory for the North at Gettysburg.
Before the war, Lee was the son of Revolutionary War hero Henry "Light Horse Harry" Lee III who died from battle wounds. Lee was also a descendant of one of the first families to live in the Virginia area. Lee also attended Westpoint academy to study engineering before becoming the general of the Confederate forces.
Can Lee rally his forces to comeback from the major losses at the hand of McClellan?
